R is a little brother and M has a little brother. We understand the situation. Now our youngest is a little brother himself. So, what happens when boredom strikes? They Say I Am Obnoxious by Erik Korhel can catch you up to speed.

Each page goes through colorful rhyming with illustrations that really help you feel the characters emotion; every sticky, snotty, crying piece of emotion. Follow the main character through his shenanigans and you will see why they say he’s obnoxious. In the end, the message brings us back to appreciating what that little brother syndrome can bring us, whether its frustrations, excitement, or just lack of boredom.

Seattle children's author Erik Korhel began pursuing his dream writing poetry with his first release, a children’s book of poems titled “My Tooth Fell in My Soup”.  This book is well received by the educational community, having achieved a "Must Have Books" and Resources listing with the “New York City Department of Education”. With positive responses to the first, his second published anthology of children’s poems titled “The Kid with the Red Juice Mustache” was released. Two years later we saw his third poetry book for children, “They Say I Am Obnoxious”.

Illustrator Leigh Faulkner resides in Seattle, Washington with her boyfriend and pets. She studied at the Cornish College of the Arts.
